The Jews have no less right to a "homeland" than any citizens of any other nation State. Israel become a soverign nation recognized by the International community:

America, our "homeland," - this "land of freedom",did not gain it's nationhood by legal means. We shamelessly slaughtered and cheated the natives, the French, and the Mexicans, and declared our sovereignty by brute force and so-called "divine right."
Why shouldn't we now make amends? Let's pay the Indians, French and Mexicans reparations, grant sovereignty of all the continental territory to native Americans - with the "right of return" - so they can reclaim their land.
Yeah, sure... but that's what the Arabs want the Jews to do.
How can we end the bloody stalemate in Israel? Consider the Elon Peace Plan, "a practical solution for the Arab-Israeli conflict as proposed in 2002 by Rabbi Binyamin Elon, who was the Israeli tourism minister at the time he put forward his proposal. The plan advocates the formal annexation of West Bank and Gaza by Israel and that the Palestinians will become citizens of the Palestinian state in Jordan.

"My plan is based on the understanding that a Palestinian state west of the Jordan River is a failed proposition. Such a state will have no economic viability. It will have no territorial contiguity. Until 1988 both Jordan and every Israeli government understood this.
My plan is based on a regional solution that recognizes the fact that Jordan is Palestine. If we can reconceptualize the way we view the problem then we can solve it. It moves from an existential conflict to a territorial border dispute like Alsace-Lorraine.

After 60 years of senseless bloodshed. it's time for Israel to assert it's statehood over the lands west of the Jordan River (including the Golan Heights). In my judgement, The Elon Plan is the path to lasting peace between Arabs and Jews.
